The Oeuvre of Judith Fowler

A showcase and retrospective of imaginative figurative works in a variety of media: charcoal, pastels, oil and acrylic paint.  These larger-than-life drawings and paintings feature the juxtaposition of draped human figures and animal forms in complex large scale drawings and paintings that reference classical Renaissance, Baroque and Symbolist themes and compositions, as well as those of the surreal.  Judith Fowler is Professor of Art at Missouri State University and also a licensed art therapist.
